Environmental determinants of health and opioid addiction

Think it would be interesting to look at environmental determinants of health that could be used towards primary and secondary prevention of opioid addiction. Given that there is evidence of positive mental health benefits (important as it relates to addiction) as well as cardiovascular and other health benefits (important given the higher risk of mortality and morbidity associated with opioid addiction).

Our local county family members living with substance use disorders need to have a county level resource center that provides education to the family members about the 32 key issues they are likely to face while on their journey with this chronic disease.
